Villains are unknown.

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

looks pretty good to me dont see what else you can do a check would be giving up a value bet

Easy bet. BB will call with his T3. I don't know how PS 2/4 plays, but I think I'm folding to a raise here.

I think you get more value by check-calling this river. Ace high will fire out a good amount of the time if you check, but it won't call.

Why would you fold to a raise? If he held a King, he would/should have raised you on the turn. Even K-no kicker should raise the turn and take a free showdown.

Well if our opponents played perfect poker, then we would all be out of business. I just think, that most of the time when raised on this river, at a level where I'm suspecting the opposition to be fairly passive, you are not good often enough.

I don't think this is a big concern at all, because you are not gonna get raised very often (like you said, a king would raise the turn most of the time).

I do think betting is a must though, since people will call with all kinds of garbage, and since villain was in the BB he could easily have just that.

i have always thought ace high will call more than it will bet. even donks realize the showdown value of ace high.
