Playing 10/25NL at the borgata this weekend. 4 limpers in a hand including me. Flop comes Q85 rainbow. As I recall the action was..

check - 75 - call - call - reraise to 400

This brings the raise of 325 to the guy sitting directly to my right. He thinks for a long time and comments 'I hate laying down a monster'. Finally he folds. Action comes to me sitting on AJo.. easy fold. It's now heads up between the guy in late position and the raiser. LP makes it a thousand on top. I should note he is sitting on about $19k. Original raiser goes all in for about $8k on top.

At this point I'm chatting with the guy next to me who folded a 'monster'. He tells me he folded aces. I tell him I folded AJ. We figure we are looking at two pair vs AQ here and we know that the AQ guy is drawing pretty slim since we folded the other 3 aces.

Well after some thought the bet is called. The original raiser turns over 85 for bottom 2. The caller turns over Q7o. [img]/images/graemlins/ooo.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

No help comes and 2 pair takes down about $20k.

Nice. If I'd had a bigger stack I would have loved to get into some big hands with him. Unfortunately I didn't really have the chips to do much but play a few straightforward, 'I know my hand is good and he'll call small bets with anything' hands with him.
