Default Borgata open Act I Sat. report

Played in a $50 ACT I satellite for the Borgata open yesterday. They have ACT Is 10am Tue+Thursday and Act II 10am Friday. They were also running single table Act Is in the afternoon yesterday.

Anyway, there were just under 6 full tables. Its 1 seat per 10 entries so yesterday there were 5 seats and some left over money given to #6.

The crowd was a fairly normal tourny mix. Some serious people there for the satellite, some casual poker players and some complete tourists who didn't even understand what they were playing for. I had some horrible luck and got knocked out after my KK ran into AA crippling me and then my QQ was busted by J3d that made a flush. Why J3d called I can't explain, but, that's poker.

I probably wouldn't try again just because tue+thur aren't convinient for me, however, I am quite sure the average 2+2'er could qualify within a couple of trys saving quite a bit over the $500 to enter Act II directly.

Thanks for the report. Sorry about the bad luck.

I wish they had Act1 and Act2 MTT sats on the weekends. But I will probably treat myself to some days off and try some.

Maybe they will run them in the mornings when the room is not full?
