I found the four color deck very disorienting, at first. after an hour though, I'd adjusted, and I use it everywhere. except pacific, which doesn't have the feature, and it turns out that adapting to the 4 color deck didn't affect my ability to read a 2 color deck.

Default I love the four color deck

I use it almost every chance I get, but I can still use a two color deck fine. I like seeing blue diamonds, but I especially like seeing the green clubs.

I like making green flushes the most.

I do not like the 4 color deck at all.

this shocks me.

i know daryn multis, so that REALLY shocks me. i don't know if you multi beyond 2 tables PA, but i'm still suprised that 2 internet regulars have not embraced this.

i finally saw an essay from mason that makes sense on keeping the deck out of casinos. for online play tho, i just can't imagine NOT using it. all it can do is help avoid a costly misread. otoh, there seems to be no plausible argument on any HARM they can be for online play.

all good, no bad. yet you guys still don't use??

i always play 4 tables at least, and i've never mistaken a club for a spade and vice-versa.

you might also be surprised to hear that i never got rakeback (until this month finally) and i don't datamine or use that playerview crap.

Wow. I've mistaken suits before, it's usually when someone hits a backdoor flush and I don't notice (especially on Pacific where all the suits are really tiny). I can't not have 4-color decks when multi-tabling.

I don't think I've actually misplayed a hand because I didn't recognize the suits, but I've often had to do a double- or triple-take to check the suits on one table when I could have been concentrating on another table. You don't need 4-color decks, but I've found it runs much smoother.

I also have a special fondness for the green club flushes.
