Default 10/20 2pair on 4straight board

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, BB folds, UTG calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero..

In these spots I feel that I pay 3 if he got the straight when I bet and gain 0 when he doesnt.
Against what kind of villains do you bet and against which do you check here?

I bet here almost always. There is no reason to suspect a J. Alot of hands pay off here, especially if villain plays bad. AQ, AK, kt, QT... on and on. Fire and bet the river if he doesn't raise. In addition, the board is pretty drawy still, you don't wanna give a free card.

I bet against all opponents here, you are probably not beaten so bet with the best hand and dont give any free card on this scary board. You dont want to see another club, Ace, Ten or Nine.
If you get checkraised call and then check/fold river if you dont improve.

I agree with the others. The turn card really isn't that scary since it fills a gutshot rather than an open ender. Even a checkraise doesn't concern me that much as he could easily have made a lesser 2 pair.

If he had a J he'd almost certainly bet the river since he can't count on you to bet since the board is so scary. So when he checks you bet.
