i'm currently sitting with a 58/44.5/2.18 retard. what is my 3betting range against him? keep in mind that i want to get involved in as many hands as possible with him.

this totally depends on his postflop play and the tendencies of the rest oif the table.

if you were getting any kind of respect from the others, threebet this guy with about the top 35% of hands when you have position.

If those stats really are over a long range of hands, then that means that on average he is raising with about:

44+, A2s+, K2s+, Q4s+, J6s+, T6s+, 97s+, 87s, A2o+, K6o+, Q8o+, J8o+, T8o+, 98o.

Like flawless_victory said, it depends on the others at the table, but keep in mind that A6o, A2s, 44, K9s, and QTs have about 50% equity here. This isn't the whole picture, but at least something to keep in mind.

It also depends on what position he is raising from. Although with a player this crazy, I don't know if he is even caring about his position at all.
