Default did i play it right?

new to the game. six players. i have 9s10h in bb. i check with a family pot. comes up 539h. so, i have high pair and a flush draw. i check and fold. is this right?

Your flush draw is basically worthless, anyone with an ace, king, queen will likely stick around. Your top pair isn't worthless, but with the 3flush on the board and more cards to come, it isn't likely to be good.


Next time, IMO, wait for suited cards. A lot of many hand's profitability comes from being suited, unsuited smallish connectors are of minimal value, even with 6 people in the pot. If your hand were, say, 76s, it could have been called.
