problems with HUD

when ever i load HUD it takes at least 5 minutes for the player stats to appear, and sometimes they don't appear at all (even though i know i have hands on some of the players).

anyone else have this problem?

if you are referring to pokerace HUD, mine works fine.

This is a known bug. Some people with large databases experience a dramatic slowdown when stats are initially displayed. The good news is that a patch is coming out soon (next couple of days). Sorry for the inconvenience.

Does the number of stats you choose to display have an impact on this? Number of tables?

Or is it solely based on the size of the database(s)? Does it make a difference if you have one giant database or if the same data is spread out on 8 different databases?

The number of stats you display shouldn't make too much of a difference. It's pretty much based on the number of times PA Hud has to access your database. If you play 10 tables with 3 databases, it has to hit the database at least 600 times. With small databases, the slowdown isn't as noticeable, but in large ones, the slowdown is significant. I really can't say if the problem is worse when you have 1 database with 600k hands or if you have 3 databases with 200k hands each. If I were to guess, I would say that multiple databases would be slower than one large database. However, the problem has been fixed and a new release will be available shortly.

this is what it says on your website:

"Before submitting your payment, you will need to find your Product ID. This is found by selecting the "Help" menu and choosing "About." Enter the Product ID in the field below and click "Buy Now." You will receive an email within 24 hours of registering that will contain your registration code. You will need to enter this code in the About window to unlock the full version of PokerAce Hud."

i don't have that option in my 'about' window.

You have downloaded and installed the most recent version? When you go into the main PokerAce Hud window and select the Help menu and choose About the window doesn't show your Product ID? What does it show?

it just shows PA Hud, Version .33 Beta, and the expiration date. i'm guessing i need to download the latest version? where do i do that on the website?

Yes, you should download 1.02, which is the newest. I can't put a direct link, but follow the link in my profile, go to the PokerAce Hud section and click Download.
