If you have a large butcher knife, simply whack the stem off. Yes, you really can do this, and I've seen a tiny girl bartender do it, so you better have the strength.

Yes way. You do not throw away a $90 bottle of wine because of a stuck cork, nor do you waste 10 minutes fishing it out while the customer waits. So instead you chop the stem off and pour the wine through a coffee filter to remove any tiny pieces of glass.

simple

put the penny on the cork, roll up a couple of cards to make a sturdy tube and use the side of the deck to drive the cork into the bottle. then report back to us if the wine was good. if you fail hang yourself with the floss as you are of no use to the world

Take a screw, a pointy one you would use in wood, screw it into the cork, use a pair of plyers to pull the cork out.

Or push cork into bottle.
