Default pets, go Sugar Glider??

Right now I'm thinking a pair of sugar gliders to be the ideal pet. They are a little expensive and high maintenance but they have a lot to offer imo, cuteness included.
btw, my current living situation makes a dog/cat impossible and forget about fish.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about a quick google search should enlighten you.

anyone own/have known those who own sugar gliders?
thoughts on this?

if you get a male/female they'll probably mate and you can sell the children.

I heard that there's some food/drink (maybe milk) that deteriorates their eyesight.

Other than that, I heard they rock. Girls love em too. I had a friend from Australia who had 2, and is pussy rate was at least triple mine.

A coworker got two. They are very sensitive. And they have sharp little claws or something. She didn't keep them.
I vote no.

Guinea pigs (aka cavies) are really great little pets. Very friendly and interesting. They make all kinds of cute little noises and they like people. Just don't forget to give them vitamin C.
