Default Is this particular 5-5 game beatable by me?

To start, im an SNG player, I play 50 30+3 tournaemnts a day and do ok for myself, although im not as good as alot of the other pro 30+3 players. I am not a cash game specialist, but can pwn the 25nl just as good as any other 2+2er. Anyway my question pertains to a $5-$5 with a $5 per pot rake (and I mean every single pot, if u raise and get no callers((never happens)) you win $5) the players are mostly just rich guys having a good time and have a pertensity for extremely FPS (calling all the way down with AA=slowplay) and LAG play in general. There will be 6-9 players there and shorthanded later in the night down too 3 man. Can I beat this game and if so for rouphly how much?

After reading this post, I don't think the rake will be the reason you can't beat the game. Keep pwning 25NL.

if you can't beat this game now then you'd better start going there, to learn how to beat it.

I've played this game 3 times before and have won $800 total. There was a hand where I got all in TT on a T25 of hearts board against QJ hearts and rivered a 2, had I not won this hand I would be a small loser in the game. So im not sure if I should contribute this to luck or not, that is why I posted this. Really, im not that bad.

Oh I forgot one very important detail, people buy in for 250-300 so everyone is playing pretty short at the begining of the night, does this change the answer?

Yes. Unless there's a lot of rebuying.

The players are donating $100+/hr to the rake. If you've got 6-9 people at $250-$300, that's a significant percentage of the amount of money at the table, like 5%, every hour.

The way to beat this game is, host this game.
