Default Pacific 3/6 vs. Party 1/2

I'm bored at work and just read a post about Pacific that got me thinking. I 4-table Party 1/2 with modest results over about 10k hands. I started out at the nanolimits at Pacific and realize their software and connection is crappy and you can only play one table, but if I am rolled for 3/6 would it be worthwhile to play one table of 3/6 there instead of eventually moving up in the Party limits where the games are probably tougher? Anyone have any experience players those limits at Pacific? Just something that popped into my head.

During my short experience at Pacific $3/6 I found it to be comparable to low/micro limits on most other sites.

Worst...players...EVER!

I alway thought that Party's software was the worst. Then I tried Pacific. Awful, an embarrasment. You'll go nuts there. Also, the games are not as good as they look. Variance is huge.

Low-limit hold'em (and especially SNGs) can be crushed at Pacific. If you don't mind playing just one table, 3/6 will be quite profitable for you. Even now, I usually play 3 tables of Party and one table at Pacific.

I only 2-3 table right now, but I always have 1 Pacific $3/$6 table open and 1-2 Party tables. I use to play $5/$10 there, but that was when I only played one table, and I also hit a bad downswing, and I didn't like losing as much as a $5/$10 downswing means, so I dropped down to $3/$6.

Easiest game ever.

I should've thought of that. 3 tables of Party and one Pacific. I think I'll try that out.

I think you need the Party experience of aggressiveness to be able to become a better poker player. I'm pretty sure most of us started at party, and even though I mostly play at Stars now, party is a completely different feel, ESPECIALLY over Paradise.
