Default MGM

Just finished my 1st session there....nicest poker room ever...best dealers...friendly/fun and turned a blind eye to constant side bets with subsequent chips flying across the table...room clean/high ceilings/sweet tables...games reasonably fishy...

I think this place is the model all poker rooms need to try aspire to.

ha, me and thatpfunk had to tip a dealer $3 at the mirage to allow us to prop bet red/black on every board..... well, uh we were wasted so it ended up being every 1/3rd board.

Never had that many chips on a table myself.

Here's an idea though, how about stacking the chips?

If the MGM had the Wynn tables I would never leave.

I was out in Vegas from the 18th(R) to the 22nd(M) and MGM's poker room is VERY VERY nice. I didn't get to see many other poker rooms because I really didn't want to leave that one. I played there mostly Eder. I was the 23yrold playing very tight 2/5NL in case I ran into you...

Thanks for mentioning MGM. They have not received many reviews with all of our discussion of Wynn.

I have not been to heaven in two months but when I was there the number of games at MGM was small. Any improvement? Are they getting more middle limit games spread? Did you try the room at different times of the day?

I am back in a month and would love to know if I should set aside a day or two for MGM. I know I could just check it out myself when I am there, but it wuld be nice to know ahead of time if it's a waste of time. I agree...the cardroom is nice.

I also had the same question about what they were spreading. I stayed there two months ago and all they ever spread was 1/2 NL and 2/4, 3/6, 4/8 limit.

I understand they now have 2/5 NL - any higher fixed-limit games?
