Default Help with AhQs on the bubble

Prima $20. 333 players, $4k for first, pays 30 places. 52 remain, average stack is around 20k. I sit with 17k in the big blind and look down at AhQh. Blinds 600/1200 I THINK (might be a bit off)

Short stack (4K) in EP raises to 2000. Small blind with 14K goes all in. Hero???

I agree with the folding. Reason for this is that it is much better to be the aggressor. AQo isn't a terrible hand to make a move with, but it isn't a good calling hand. Too likely to be dominated by the sb making an isolation raise with AK. you've got plenty of chips left and can wait for a better spot.

Fold. Short stack may be desperate, but the SB going all-in over the top screams that he wants to be just heads-up with the original bettor. Says med pocket pair or AK/AQ. Whatever it is, you're either a huge underdog or a slight dog, but not a good situation to be in on the bubble. Let the SB knock the guy out for you and you move closer to a payday.

Easy fold with two callers.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the non-condescending remarks. Pretty dumb move on my part when I put my money in. Anyway, the small stack showed KK, the SB showed AK, and I showed AQ. Despite and Ace on the flop, I was crippled. Moved all in with TT a few hands later and was beat when T9o on a 6Q9 flop hit JK for a straight, but I'm not upset about that because I shouldn't have even been in that position.

I know the two mistakes I made and this was my first serious MTT...I'm thinking I can try at one a week or so.

Absolute auto muck...which raises a question. Another post has a dude calling 3 people(one short stack) with AKo..what is the biggest difference between these 2 situations?? Is it the prize distribution ot the players blind?stack situation??
