Re: UI overs in a small, short-handed pot
Not bad. Your OOP and not supposed to win these. Thats why position is so valuable.

Re: UI overs in a small, short-handed pot
[ QUOTE ]
Thanks everyone for the help. I'm embarassed to post the rest of the hand - I'm sure I lost the pot by giving up too soon, after already shooting myself in the foot by not raising PF. Grunch away boys: Flop: (3.60 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, BB folds. Turn: (2.80 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, CO checks. River: (2.80 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, CO bets, Hero folds. Final Pot: 3.80 BB. [/ QUOTE ] Aaron i think you played the hand just fine. Heads up i may have bet the turn but it would have been the last dime i put in the pot unimproved. Even if you folded the best hand her the pot was so small that it is really no big deal. FWIW playing overcards unimproved is not easy for anyone especially when you are out of position. |

Re: UI overs in a small, short-handed pot
Sean, Tom, everyone, thanks for your input. I know now that the hand would have played out much differently had I made the correct play PF.
...and I won't be posting UTG anymore |
