I hope all us poker players demanded 45 pound of the 50 pot. That seems to a good enough amount for the person not to reject it, since the person will be costing themselves 5pound just to be spiteful.

Not at all. TONS of people would be willingly give up 1 pound to spite you out of your money. You should have considered the EV of your play [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I had this discussion a long time ago regarding "Friend or Foe," which is basically the same thing. I decided that if there were $10k up for grabs, and I was offered less than $5,000.00 I would immediately demand everything or nothing.

I'd rather get nothing than have a bastard get more because he exemplifies everything I hate about human nature.

In this situation, no counter-offer or negotiation occurs. You either accept what he offered you, or you both walk away with nothing. So if I offered you $2,500 of the strange $10,000, you wouldn't accept the money?

I scored a 50 on the male side, but probably would've been closer to the 0 if I'd known you are supposed to put commas between the word association task. I typed out about 15 words for "Grey" but only got 1 right. Needless to say my confidence was let down for "Happy" [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
