Take a look
PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (9 handed)
Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $0.05. UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, Hero calls, MP3 calls, CO (poster) checks, Button folds, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: (5 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players) SB bets, BB calls, Hero......? I have two questions here. 1. To NOT raise is correct? 2. The fold is good right. Or does the over card make it a call? |

Re: Take a look
Fold is okay I think on the flop. If it is checked to me I bet though. Also, I would fold pre-flop. With 3 folds in front, you are probably not getting good enough pot odds to call with a speculative hand like A6s.

Re: Take a look
I'd fold too. The pot is small and you've got bottom pair and an overcard and no backdoors, not a lot really. Even with a diamond on the flop I'd let it go but it'd be much closer. Don't go mad in this small pot.
I'm working hard on my flop evaluation as I realised how bad I am so I may be well off base. I usually get told to worry about an EP player betting into a large field and the board is pretty raggedy - usually means a decent-ish hand. Prob top pair. These are my thoughts StuR |

Re: Take a look
Hey Crockett,
This looks like a good place to muck. Small pot, bottom pr. If you do continue, however, you should raise. -Jaran |
