Default Game Theory Book

I know there is a book section, but...

Looking for a great book on the subject.

I got a math degree about a million years ago so it isn't fresh, but I'm not afraid of an academic book.

I was also a math major (3 years, didn't finish) and when they mention on tv about someone being a great game threorist I also am curious as to the details of it. The Theory of Poker is pretty interesting but if anyone knows of anything else with a deeper or longer discussion on it that would be appreciated by myself also.

No wonder you don't want to share any book titles.

I don't mean a poker book. It would be cool if poker was part of it, but it doesn't have to be.

I mean straight up game theory, like "Consistent Beliefs and Sequential Rationality at All Information States" and stuff that I'll be lucky to half-way understand.

Well I just searched under Amazon books for game theory and it had some results that looked pretty good including an introduction to game thoery and a non-technical look at game theory. I don't know how good they really are but I may try one out.

Someone recommended this one to me, don't know how trustworthy this person is, but the 8 people the reviewed it on amazon seem to like it.

Yeah, I saw one that looked good, but there probably is a particular book that is THE book to have on the subject and I want to see if someone here knows.

There are a few posters who have talked game theory and probably know THE book and there is at least one math PhD here.
