Default Big stack poker

I have been digging through some of the past posts here, and have seen some of the more well-respected posters refer to playing "big stack poker."

I am pretty sure I failed miserably at "big stack poker" last night in the 30+3 tourney that I played. I had a huge chip lead (about 32k when the next biggest stack in the tourney had only 21k) when we hit the money (90 left), but I was not sure what adjustments to make, so I just continued playing my normal, solid game. By the time we were down to 40 players I had only increased my stack to around 40k, but the blinds had skyrocketed, and the big stacks at the other tables had greatly grown their stacks and passed me.

Can anyone point me to a thorough post or thread discussing proper big stack strategy?
