Default 88 in the CO+1, Mid-Stages

Pokerroom $30+3 MTT. 128 entrants, final table gets paid. About 80 left. No specific reads--I'm playing multiple MTTs and sweating a friend in another.

Blinds 50/100
Relevant stacks:
Hero: 1500
Villain: ~3600

Folds to Hero in CO+1 with 88. Hero raises to 300.

Villain calls in the CO, others fold.

Flop (t750): AA3r

Hero checks, Villain bets 900, Hero raises to 1200 (All in), Villain calls.

I play goot?

You play goof, in my book. Pot odds were about 3 to 1, you needed another 8 to make your hand...and you raised. Not my approach!
