Default 99, one cold caller and the blinds

No reads. Just sat down. Hasn't been one orbit.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, 3 folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

3 players, someone has to have a J right? Normally I'd autobet this but my latest downswing has me firmly into weak/tight territory.

Turn: (4 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB folds, BB folds.

What do these calls mean? That's a brick if I've ever seen one.

River: (6 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

I wanted to showdown without getting checkraised. Again, downswing. My former self would've said betting and folding to a raise is correct here. Is that right?

Final Pot: 8 BB

Keep betting until played back at. Depending on what card inspires the play-back, cal down or fold.

Right, because the only hands that coldcall raises preflop are those containing a jack.

PF=good

Flop: This is about as good a flop as you're gonna get with 9's. Gotta bet this.

Turn: Perfect, a blank and a bet.

River. Check/call works for me if villain's a bluffer. If he is just a calling station I'd be obligated to bet here.
