He's the best player to get left off. Chipper being there is mandatory though as he's getting on base more than half of the time.

Definitely. Before getting hurt Chipper was ahead of Glaus in OPS, VORP, and probably every other statistical measure of offensive value. Chipper has a bad defensive rep, but 1) I don't know that Glaus is a great fielder; and 2) there's no way that the difference between them is great enough to make up for the difference in offensive value thus far.

That being said, if Glaus is healthy I can definitely see him putting up better numbers than Chipper over the course of the season.

I think Willis, Beckett, and Myers had better months than Pedro also. Pedro's first and last start weren't that good.
