Re: 200NL slowplay
Bet the flop. If you c/c the flop, they know you're drawing or slowplaying. If you bet the flop, they'll think you got something, where that something is < the nuts. Bet the flop.

Re: 200NL slowplay
This hand was misplayed on every single street. Regardless of how bad UTG is I think you can find a better spot to mix it up than 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] works for me. However, fold pre-flop.
Bet the flop and build a pot. Bet the turn and build a pot. River action shouldn't have mattered if you had bet flop/turn. You played this hand very, very poorly. |

Re: 200NL slowplay
Every street is pretty horrible.. I still vote the river as the worst.

Re: 200NL slowplay
You no longer have the nuts. min raising a PSB isn't exactly nothing. Villain has a 9 and you're splitting, unless you gave Q9 the free gutshot draw in which case you pretty much [censored] yourself. If UTG is so horrible bet the flop and he will call you down with a weak pair. If you absolutely must slowplay, what the hell are you doing checking the turn? You had your slowplay, the draws are improved, pot the [censored].
The way you played it, call. You gave too many free cards, and villain has a 9. If he doesn't then you are one lucky dude. |

I guess this hand is proof, there is ABSOLUTELY NEVER a good reason to slowplay past the flop and rarely to do it at all. |
