Default Why did I do this??

Playing like a damn idiot today. I have $100 and both villains have me covered and I have no read on them.

One limper in Mid-late position, I make it $5 with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

BB calls, and the limper calls as well.

Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checked to me, I bet $11. BB calls, and now MP makes it $30. I push! DOH!!!! I guess my question is, "Could I have played this any worse?"

right, the flop continuation bet seems alright. once you are raised, it feel's like you're up against a set. you are now on a flush draw (discounting ace and king outs) for all intensive purposes, and you're about a 2 to 1 dog.

even if you assume that the BB folds to the reraise every time, you're laying the MP such a great price he'll call virtually every time. this play is really -ev. you're risking 84 to win 122 when you are about a 2 to 1 dog. 33% of the time you win 122 (+$40.26) and 67% of the time you lose 84 (-$56.28) for an ev of -$16.02 per play. not good. even if he folds 15% of the time, which he won't, the play is still -ev (albeit thinly).

call the raise. you're getting the implied odds necessary to put another $19 in the pot.
