fnord too's "Laughing Donkey" brought to mind a similar one: "Grinning Donkey". I don't know why, but that mental picture appeals to me.

I was in the Indian Guides as a youth, I think my Indian name was "Running Buffalo" and my father's was something like "Tall Tree" (he's 6' 8"). I thought the organization had died out due to its total non-PCness.

They have changed the name in most areas to Y Guides, but there are still a few groups that call themselves Indian Guides.

what is it with indian guides and nc? I did indian guides with my dad also.

do tilting monkey is a good one. did you coin the phrase monkey tilt?
