Re: Anybody playing WoW (World of Warcraft, for the nubs)?
[ QUOTE ]
get a life NERD! CS- dominates WoW- good but not worth the money I'm not getting into Halo 2 again... [/ QUOTE ] CS is pretty good yah, i definitely like the combat model more than halo 2. But that's just because taht's the type of multiplayer i perfer (although, RTCW xbox had some fun multi too, and it's more halo 2 style than CS). WoW - I'm still not sure if i'll continue past the first 'free' month or not. While i can definitely afford $15 a month, it seems like a ton to pay for a game. It's one of the reasons i quit SWG before they started billing me. Of course, that game was really buggy, and definitely not as fun as WoW is. WoW seems to be really polished for a launch MMORPG - except for the patch downloader, which is the biggest piece of crap ever. Halo 2 - I definitely never want to hear that debate again. Ugh. |

Alright i might checkout that server, i'll PM you if i do. I played CS this morning before coming into work since the WoW servers were down for maint (totally lame). Oddly enough, 3-4 of the people i was playing CS:Source with were also all only playing CS because the WoW servers were down :P.

Re: Anybody playing WoW (World of Warcraft, for the nubs)?
I have a level 29 Rogue on some server (originally a mountain time server). I also have a lvl 15 Warior thats been dormant for 2 weeks, and 3 level 10 characters on various servers. I found that a person can get to level 10 in about 5 hours. After that the level climbing slows to a crawl. At my current level (29), it takes a 6-8 hours to get up one level. The game is great but I still get my poker in.
Since I am almost exclusively a Tournament Player, I sign up for an evening Tourney, play WOW and then break and play the tournament. When the tourny is over, I go to WOW. It works for me. I get both of my gaming experiences in. |

Re: Anybody playing WoW (World of Warcraft, for the nubs)?
Wow has given me something to do besides play poker constantly. I found myself only semi-interested in poker at times, or playing because I thought I should instead of because that is what I wanted to do. Now when I play poker, my mind is fully on the game (when I am not daydreaming about Wow! ), and I think I play much better for it.

How do you add friends to your list on CS source?

I think you right click on steam and select friends. You should be able to search for them there. I've only done it once though, so i don't remember for sure .
