So Frustrating (venting post)
I know, I know in the long run I'll win but it's still so frustrating. I've been playing PP 1/2 tables. The last 6 times I've been dealt KK I've lost. Pitched it twice with some unfavorable flops. The four times I've gone down to showdown I've lost to QJo (flopped straight), 98o (flopped straight), 77 (flopped set) and QQ (flopped set). Yes and each time I raised/re-raised/capped pre-flop!

Re: So Frustrating (venting post)
I'd imagine you didn't find it frustrating the times you cracked someone's pocket Ks with a flopped set or straight.

Re: So Frustrating (venting post)
if you saw all the hands they were cold-calling raises against you with, you wouldn't complain. you make so much money off them playing complete trash.

I am quite certain at some point in time you have either cold-called or even 3-bet a hand that was a huge dog to pocket Ks preflop and ended up cracking those Ks. It happens. |

Re: So Frustrating (venting post)
Hey Dave,
First off, It happens and, yes, it's frustrating. But remember these are the same people that make you money most often. Just to commiserate a little: one day last week I had KK 3x in 45 hands (woohoo!). All three flops came AAx, usually a great flop for KK. All three times someone had Ax and took it down. Now what are the odds on that? Keep playing your game and it'll turn around. -Jaran |
