Default KK on turn, horrible fold?

SB is about a 23/20ish player in this hand, seems reasonable.

Was this a horrible fold?

That is an ugly fold. Just call it down. If it's 2 bets to you on the river then you can fold.

you're getting 16 or 17-2 on a call down... I'm pretty sure I'd call down, but I'm a Fish.

Yes it was as AQ and KQ are both possible holdings you beat and the pot is big.

If he had QQ, i suspect you would have seen a reraise on the flop from him.

I'd be more worried about 9-10, but I still call down here.

Yes. And I knew it right when I did it and before I posted it. Running a little bad and I think I'm trying to make some laydowns that I have no right to be making. I think maybe thats one of the first mistakes when things aren't going well. I find myself folding way to many rivers and trying to make tough laydowns when I shouldn't be, especially in a large pot.

I had convinced myself that since he 3-bet out of the SB, since I capped from UTG, it wasn't likely he was waiting until the turn to c/r w/ AQ. Also, I thought there little chance he held KQ because I ddidn't think he's 3betting KQ OOP against a UTG pf raiser. So I figured it was between AA,KK,QQ or JJ and since there was only 1 other KK I decided I should fold, and as you said, it was terrible. Even if I knew with 100% certainty that was his hand range here, I'm still not far off breaking even on a call down.

Anyways, FWIW villian has KK. I think I just needed the therapy of posting a really dumb play.
