Default Dropping of unasked for $10 Empire \"blocking\" bonus denied

Dear Fraubump,

Thank you for contacting us.

We would like to inform you that we cannot drop the bonus EPCASHTEN as it was issued by the system automatically into your account.

We see that you still have time to play the raked hands as the expiry date is on 11-SEP-2005 00:00 ET. Therefore we request you to play 300 raked hands so that the bonus amount does not get deducted from the account.

Anyone succeed in avoiding this bonus to get driectly to the better 10x $100 bonus? If so, how?

Couldn't you just quickly pay 300 raked hands, clear the bonus, and then play another 1000 raked hands for the $100 bonus? Makes the overall bonus 11.8x, which still isn't bad, and certainly exceeds any non-bonus rakeback you're getting.

I think if you simply sit at a NL table and go allin and lose your 10 bucks the bonus is considered void.

im pretty sure this is not the case. you wont be allowed to cashout the last 10 dollars from your account until the hands are cleared.

all you do is let the $10 sit.. deposit on the very last day of the bonus window. Wait until the last days or so in the bonus period and the $10 should have expired

Doesn't work here. The $10 bonus expires 9/11. The latest you can deposit for the $100 bonus is 9/6--you have 3 days to do bonus, which gets you to 9/9.

This is absolutely correct. I posted about my experience about a year ago.

I played 7 hands with the 10 bucks and busted out to $0. I then deposited for the new bonus, and after doing so the $10 bonus changed to released status. I cleared the $100 bonus and withdrew with no problems.

If you already had money in your account then this could be a problem, but since my balance was at 0, the bonus was released when I busted.

interesting. If this works, it is another incentive to cash out immediately after you finished a bonus to have a zero balance and be able to kill off the block.
