I'd bet a little more on the flop, 1/3 just looks too weird. Maybe give it a 1/2-pot that's what I usually do.

Isn't that the point?
To make the flop bet weak, and weird, as to induce a bluff?

If its too small, like that, your opponent gets confused by what it means.

"does he have a monster? or is he buffing and trying to steal the pot?"

This creates doubt about whether his hand is good or not, so he begins to respond passively, which is exactly what he did.

A normal bet says, I've got it or I'm representing. He either decides he's beat, or he thinks your bluffing and makes a move.

You really shouldn't try too many of these "fancy plays" when you've got a hand like this when you're at these levels. The reason is players on the 22's are donks. By slowplaying, all you're doing is costing yourself bets and giving donks great odds to draw.

That being said, bet more on the flop. He called a raise to 65, I'm sure he'll call again on the flop and then re-evaulate from there.
