Default Home game sitngo \"ethics\"

Hey forum!

Every so often my friends from college & myself get together to have a poker afternoon. We play usually 2 or 3 sitngo style games with a flat payout structure and small buy-ins. It really is meant to be a fun atmosphere - $5 or $10 never breaks the bank for any of us and everyone has a good time. However, a situation came up between two of the players in this game that I want to run by the board before I "rule" on it for future poker afternoons.

Player A is a SLAG player, and Player B is a LP player. Player A is sitting behind Player B in both tournaments, and was getting frustrated whenever B would come into a pot and A would raise, or A would raise when B is in a blind. He claimed that blind stealing is essentially a dirty tactic in a friendly home game. Player A protested and laughed, saying that blind stealing is a very common tournament tactic in any poker tournament. I agree completely with Player A, but am unsure how to approach Player B about this issue. I should mention that Player B is very vocal about his views. How do I convince him that blind stealing is not 'dirty', and is a perfectly acceptable play. Thank you in advance!

Blind stealing is an integral part of poker,it doesn't matter if it's cash or tourney.
How can you tell if player A is stealing all the time?
What happens if player A has a premium hand does he have to only call the BB?

Tell player B if he doesn't like how poker is played not to play at all.

Thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing some hidden home poker ethics codes or something. I agree too that he needs to watch the game a bit more and understand that it happens with every game - friendly or not. I also should tell him that attitude like that does not help the atmosphere of the game. We are a lively bunch, but myself and player A are among those who take the game very seriously and employ all the proper strategies.

Thanks!

**Warning: Advice has not been sugar coated to make Player B feel good**

Tell him to stop being such a [insert derrogotory term here].

Explaing that everyone has three options when the play comes around to them:
1) Fold
2) Check/Call
3) Raise

If player A wants to raise every time, then so what? Tell player B to grow some [insert slang term for testicles here] or to go play Candy Land with his sister.

i tell player B to wait til he's got a big hand and then pop him with a big raise. also, raising from UTG is gonna get him burnt fairly often by the rest of the table. he'll get his.

also, tell him to grow some nuts.

This falls into the same category as banning check raising in home games. Sure, you can do it, but then its not really poker. DS talks about this in TOP (I believe).

If your friend is so concerned with his blind, tell him to defend them.

May want to have random seating next time (each person draws a card to get their seating position).

Are bluffing, semi-bluffing, slowplaying and chasing draws with correct pot odds allowed in this game?

Tell your friend to read a poker strategy book just once and maybe he'll figure out how the game's actually played.

Actually we did do that Maybe that was too much like actual poker than he was hoping for.
