Default Six scaredycats (low content)

Just an amusing hand from last night. I never dreamed I'd win this pot... and I have a feeling that anybody who found the guts to put one chip in could have taken it down, too. I certainly wasn't planning to call at least on the turn or river.

Absolute Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, 2 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Button checks.

Turn: (6 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Button checks.

River: (6 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Button checks.

Final Pot: 6 BB

No-one at the table had a pair, so my ace won it. Amazing that there wasn't a middle-sized card anywhere at the whole table.

Why didn't you bet out the flop? Fold to a C/R if you're afraid of somebody calling your PF raise with 87, but come out firing.

OOP six handed there is no reason to bet this flop. Check and see what the action is back to you.
