thanks for the input. i don't know anything about external hard drives but i will look into it. any recommendations? otherwise, i think i might just keep the databases separate. i really won't be playing much on my laptop. only when i travel, which isn't often. in fact, i have barely used my laptop so i hope i don't regret buying it. i'm sure i'll be glad i bought it the next time i take a trip somewhere and i'm able to play poker.
