Default 99 vs shortstack poster

Unknown posts $4 UTG+1. He just bought in for $80. UTG folds, he checks, I raise to $18 with 99. Others fold, he calls. Flop Axx rainbow. He checks, I check. Turn is a king. He bets $8, I push. Is this terrible?

I think he is calling with any A and any K and TT+ if he is the typical guy that buys in short and posts utg + 1

I dont like the push. I think villain will call with any A or some Kings...

Just call and see what happens.

Pot is about half his stack on the flop. Your hand is so inbetween that I think it's really hard to get away from. I think raising does the whole folds out better hands, so I probably call that ridiculous mini-bet and fold to a push on the river. So very weak.
But really, what else are you supposed to do? The only other move i see is pushing the flop, you could get some loose calls there. With an opponent that buys in 80 and post UTG, I think his range could be big. I'm torn between those two, but do you ever find a fold here?
