Software Error on Pacific Poker Costs Me Big Pot
A friend suggested that for looser than loose games I try Pacific Poker. So, Saturday night I have QQ in the small blind at a $200 NL table. My stack is about $400. Two players limp (MP and CO). I type in a raise of $10, but when I hit the raise button the software folds my hand (there was plenty of time left on the timer)! BB checks. So, only $7 in the pot.
The flop comes Q-5-5! BB checks, MP player checks and CO moves all-in (he had about $150). The other players fold and he takes the pot (with J6). Jesus Christ, that pisses me off! Any thoughts on how to pursue it with Pacific and whether I'm likely to get any positive response?

I wrote them and they said my hand timed out. Sometimes I really hate online poker.

I tried something of the same, also with Pacific.
I chased an OESD, and called some hefty bets, though with many in the pot, so I had decent odds. I hit it on the river, and make the nuts, one player goes all-in in front of me, and my hand insta folds. "Fold in turn" was NOT checked. And I was in Firefox at the time it happend (checked HH to see what happend). To make a long story short, I mailed Pacific, and got the bets I put in the hand refunded, as they could see it looked very odd. I did however, miss a really great pot, but guess it was better than nothing. :-S

Crap like that is why I very rarely play on Pacific anymore. They do have some nice bugs however, on more than one occasion I was awarded a double pot. These don't make up for the frequent DC's and raking of uncalled bets or the lack of multi-table play. This site is by far the worst out there, I would suggest moving your money elsewhere. JMO
