Default KQo in BB, M = 5

UB $30+$3 MTT last night. It's down to 68 out of 400, top 40 make the money. Blinds are 200/400, ante 50. My stack about 5500 chips, M = 5. MP player raises to about 2000 with a stack of about 7000 chips. I think he has a mid pair or better. Folds to me in the BB and I have KQo. Do you push, fold, or call?

$66, so not much more than my buy in - would prefer final table money of course

Marginal all in raise for me. It's probably the weakest hand I'd do this with though. I don't mind him showing an under pair, and Ax isn't too bad. I'd like to double up now, and whilst I'd rather be the first in at this stage the fact that antes are in play makes me more desperate.

If he made it a standard 1200, I would be more likely to push, but usually when people go 5xBB preflop they aren't going anywhere. If you push, he's getting 86:31 on a call, so almost 3:1. So I don't think you have much fold equity at all. I would fold here.

I'd fold, simply because he's committed-ish. Calling means you basically need to flop a K or Q and not have an Ace come. Pushing means he's likely to call you even though you are likely not far behind. Because of tourney situation, though, the range of hands he has could be a bit weaker than usual.

"drop it like its hot" - snoop dogg

Especially if your read is good, he's not folding, and you are in bad shape against much of his suspected range.

Assuming I just called to see the flop and consider the stop and go . . .

Flop was JTx rainbow. All systems go and push with the oesd and two overcards? Seems like a no brainer push to me on the flop if I had just called the preflop raise, but just checking with the experts here.
