Tricky 99 Hand
Just short of the second break in the 200k on Party
Just got moved to the table and have no reads. I am sitting with 3300 chips in EP and villain is in the BB with 3000. Blinds are at 75/150 and I limp in with 99. Folded around to sb who completes and villain checks. Flop comes JJ6 w/ 2 clubs Checked to me and I lead out with a pot size bet of 450 SB folds and BB check min raises to 900 What your move? |

Re: Tricky 99 Hand
Fold and cry in my beer.
Yeah, it could well be a bluff but you have no good read to say so. With 20 BBs I wouldn't go all-in blind with 99, and that's what you risk doing here if it isn't a bluff. Or losing half your stack and then folding without knowing if its a bluff or not. So, I'd hate it, but I'd chicken out and fold. |

Re: Tricky 99 Hand
If you're opening, I'd raise preflop here. You're new to the table, so everybody has to give you credit for something...they'd need a hand to play back, I wouldnt expect any moves.
After the flop reraise, in an online game with no reads, you have to fold here. |
