Default Another Bodog 100k hand, Right play?

Bodog 100k

blinds 400/800, nearing the bubble.

7800 in chips
Dealt TT UTG
Several solid players, table had been tight but most of the nits were eliminated and half the remaining table is aggro. Raise to close to 3x BB, folded to aggressive big blind (2 rounds ago he pulled a resteal on another aggro and showed 2/5o) who has about 10000 behind, who calls.

Flop is K/6/5 rainbow, villain checks, hero??
If you opt to check behind, or get to turn by other means, turn is another K.

Your play/intentions?

Push preflop and I don't think its close. As it is now, theres about 6k in the pot and you have ~5k behind? I think you have to push this flop, if he has a K so be it.

So this is an easy push on flop? Not worth giving him a chance to put some chips in the middle on the turn given his aggression? I know there are a lot of cards we don't want to see on the turn, but hes drawing to 2-6 outs if he didn't connect with that board and isn't ahead already, not worth taking the risk here? I pushed on the flop, just second guessing in case there was a better line to be taken here.

I dunno why you didn't push preflop. Too awkward not to.
