Default TPTK line....

I haven't had much problems with TPTK in a long while. I'm pretty sure I butchered this line though. Can someone tell me their play on flop, turn, river and with plans for each?

I was checking turn because I did not want to pump a huge pot up with just TPTK and wanted to check/call turn and I assumed on river he checks behind with a hand I beat and I fold to another huge bet. I didn't do this though which was my mistake, some tilt from earlier, but even if I do check fold this river how's that line? If I was good on flop and turn this river looks like a blank.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Hero ($429.50)
MP ($511.38)
Button ($117.40)
SB ($392)
BB ($344.25)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
Hero raises to $15, MP calls $15, 1 fold, SB (poster) calls $13, 1 fold.

Flop: ($49) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $40, MP calls $40, SB calls $40.

Turn: ($169) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP bets $100, SB folds, Hero calls $100.

River: ($369) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP calls $356.38 (All-In), Hero calls $274.50 (All-In).

Final Pot: $999.88

Results in white below:
Hero has Qs As (two pair, queens and fours).
MP has 3s 3d (full house, threes full of fours).
Outcome: MP wins $999.88.

I think i go ahead and bet about a hundred on the turn and hope everyone folds. The check causes problems because MP might just be betting because you showed weakness. There is a chance that a set is out there, but its also possible that the two players caught something like a weaker Q or maybe are taking one off to hit two pair. If you get reraised allin on the turn, you have a really tough decision based on your read of the player, but that's poker.

Bet turn. Fold to a raise.

On river, c/f? Even if he value bets something like $100? The river blanked.

Gotta bet turn. In this hand, you'll get raised and fold.

If he just called, you could c/f to big bet on river. You can check behind on turn in NL with made hand, but usually need to bet in front.

[/ QUOTE ]basically you messed up by calling the river here... when e moves in on the end here, your hand is never ever good unless you are against a really tough player... then maaaybe. the turn is a possible laydown, but i dont blame you for wanting to look him up here...
PF/flop/turn, looks fine.
rivr, really really bad call. easy fold.

i think the river bet is more likely to be a bluff than the turn bet

if you call the turn you call the river

i fold the turn and hate it, thats why you lead fold, or check fold if you know the players arent messing around

ptracker stats are lovely!

this is only b/c:
dryest...board...ever!

Anyone think a small blocking bet would have been good on the river?
