Chinese Poker

My poker buddies and I have been playing a lot of Chinese Poker lately, but I believe that some of the betting structures we are using are unconventional to say the least. We love to bet on who can lay their hand down first, but that is beside the point. This game is a great deal of fun and involves a great deal of strategy, card sense and forsight. My question is what are the standard set of betting rules for this game, including royalties? What are all of the extras that are bet on and any other information would be greatly appreciated. thanks--J.Brown
