The thought of laying down AA on an undercard flop CROSSED my mind.
But I didn't do it.

Oh I know.
But what line do you follow? Check/fold? I don't put anyone on AK. TJ? QJ? |

pretty scary flop, but no way you can fold. i'd consider folding if it were JT9 2-tone, but i wouldn't fold that either.

Re: The thought of laying down AA on an undercard flop CROSSED my mind
No, but I'm not laying down here to the action you've seen so far. It's pretty unlikely that you're up against AK, so I don't think the straight is out there. Two pair hands are more likely than other times because of this board, but you'll have straight outs, aces and counterfeit outs against those. You also have the backdoor nut flush draw. So you have plenty of outs against the most likely hands that beat you, and have substantial chances of still being ahead. I'm pretty happy with this push. (EDIT: Push because you don't want to give free cards to a K or have your action get killed by a variety of other cards.)

Re: The thought of laying down AA on an undercard flop CROSSED my mind
with just one opponent on the flop, there is just no way id lay this down. instapush.
now, if there were two other players on the flop, i think id have to vomit because this flop is so horrible. given reads, i might lay this down in that case. |

Even if he has QJ here you are ~42% to win.
I also push and prepare to get sucked out on. |

Re: The thought of laying down AA on an undercard flop CROSSED my mind
If there was a bet and raise in front of you on the flop, you very well could lay this down in the $109's.
There's one bet to you in the $33's. Push. |
