Re: Should I be 3-betting this river every time?
Because it was a high spade, I'd say yes. Button could easilly have KJ, and his bet on the turn tells me think he doesn't have the spades. It looks to me like he might have flopped a set, since he called the flop but was agressive on the big bet rounds. He also may have KJ, some other two pair he flopped, or even a strait (unraised family pot and he's on the button, it's not rare to see hands like 67 or A2 here). I think that a flush draw betting the turn with a flush draw when they're getting a free river is such a rare and rediculously ignorant play against a field that big that you simply must 3-bet. I don't think he has a flush, 3-bet for value.

Re: Should I be 3-betting this river every time?
Fold preflop - seriously.
As for your original question, though: Yes, 3-bet this river and call if capped. There are only 2 types of hands that beat you Ax [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and Kx [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Most of the time, your hand will be good here. Adam |

I realize this is a fold, but I called because of the poster in the pot. I normally fold this every time.

Re: Should I be 3-betting this river every time?
If the table was running loose, I think the preflop call is marginal. It's definitely not a clear fold, maybe a hair too loose. I call with QTs here easily.
3-bet the river fo sho. Rob |

3-bet that baby! You're only hitting flushes a fraction of the time so make em count!
