The Whole Table VS...YOU!! Moves/Plays
Hi all.
Much has been posted here about various "moves" and "plays" during the play of certain hands, etc. I'm sure new players and players moving up to higher limits have felt like the bait being dangled in front of the sharks. How do these players "play" the n00b (i.e. "monkey in the middle" raising ploys etc.) whether by implicit or worse, explicit collusion? What schemes have you noticed or tried? (FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO "TILT" REFERENCES...!) [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] peace, -ZEN

Wow, great post Zen! I've been wondering this myself.
Any high limit players out there admit to cheating? If not I'll just suspect all of you do it.

One of my "favorite" plays against a noob is check-raising Ace-High or bottom pair or something. Granted your opponent essentially has to have his cards face up, but noobs often do. It really depends on how predictable or bad they are, but sometimes you can really own them.

This topic title sounds like those "1 vs. 42" NASCAR comertials they've had lately. Following that advice, I'd suggest you get a sword and take on the rapscallions real pirate-like.

things don't work that way in the real world. maybe they do at 4k/8k but I doubt you'll have to worry about that

Do people answer these just to get a higher post count?
Things DO work this way...ask anyone who's played at MS about 4-5 years ago! If no one has ever been in on a setup table or played at one than fine...no real use in posting your 1-cent cause it sure wasn't worth 2 [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] everyone else... peace -ZEN
