Daily Show does Poker Story
I didn't see the whole clip, but it seemed like they did a very blowoff job on it.

Have you ever seen the Daily Show? The news reports are all jokes.

Ya. Don't take it seriously. It's more funny than educational

I thought it was hysterical. The GA counselor interview was awesome.

Re: Daily Show does Poker Story
Yeah they intervied some obvious donk princeton student who made $90k last year. As if he's the richest poker playing college student or something. He was bragging about 3-tabling :P Don't worry, the Daily Show anchors made fun of him plenty

I don't understand how people do interviews for the daily show... I couldn't imagine many people going into the interview thinking "yeah this is gonna turn out good"

I don't understand how people do interviews for the daily show... I couldn't imagine many people going into the interview thinking "yeah this is gonna turn out good" [/ QUOTE ] They wanted to do a story on a bill that one of the Senators I write for co-sponsored. It was funny talking to the producer on the phone, because they try to play it off like it will be legit. Of course I've seen the show, so I know better. But it's not shocking that they find people who don't know the difference. |

My favorite part was when they were interviewing the recovering gambler, and he says something about how all players will eventually go broke and lose their money. The interviewer says, "But what about people who don't suck at gambling?"

It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. |
