Even at 6-max, I generally don't like 3-bet AK pre-flop OOP.

I like doing this with AK after someone has cold called between a raiser and me, but you gotta raise it up more..maybe like $8. If you aren't going to raise it up at least that much, you are better off calling.

depends on the table, but if you do re-raise AKo from the blinds, def make it more, like 8 at least

Really? I make it about $8 against normally aggressive opponents here. It seems to win the pot quite often. Do you think you disguise your hand better postflop and get hands like AQ to make big postflop mistakes?

I feel the problem is that all too often, my 3-bet gets called and I don't know where I stand on ragged flops. I might just play too tight out of the blinds, though. At 6-max, I usually leave my re-raising out of the blinds to JJ+, and depending on table dynamics, not JJ.

It's going to be really difficult to play this hand after the flop unimproved and out of position which will happen 66% of the time so you really shouldn't mind taking it down pre-flop. Sure AQ might lose some money if you guys hit an ace, but AQ might also steal a pot from you with his superior position when you both miss.
