Default Paradise 20/40. JJ in the SB

BB is very loose, UTG+1 is loose, Button is solid.

UTG+1 limps, Folds to Button who raises, I 3-bet JJ in the SB, BB and limper call.

$240 in the pot

Flop is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I bet, BB and UTG+1 call, button raises, I 3-bet, both call, button caps, everyone calls.

$560 in the pot

Turn 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checks around

River 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Checks to the button who bets, I call, others fold. Thoughts?

I think Button had QQ or KK. More likely QQ.

button iso raised Axss here and capped for a free card.

looks like AQss on the river and he bets for value.

on the turn i would rather bet and fold to a call and a raise from the button rather than check and let him get a free card.

The river call here is really close. It's pretty darn close even if you're HU, but with two other players to act after you, a fold is probably correct. One interesting thing is that if the button had just called your flop 3-bet then I'd be more likely to fold than when he capped it.

I would probaly call here unless you are sure that you are beat. I play on pardise a lot and and there are more then a few who would cap with 99 or 10/10 on that flop .

I don't know any solid players that don't cap KK or QQ preflop on the button but then again, all my friends are cats. And they definitely wouldn't check the turn with either hand.

Could also be 55 and 77 up to TT. I would play these hands the same way. Cats do love to TVB.
