What's going on in Vegas on Mar. 18-20??

I'm planning a trip to Vegas for that weekend, but all the hotel rates are about triple their norm, and most of the hotels are booked. Does anyone know what's so special about that particular weekend? Is it spring break or something?

March 17-20 are the first two rounds of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

Second only to Super Bowl weekend in Vegas insanity.

I'll be there, but got hotel room booked about 2 months ago.

tell me about it, I am having my Bachelor Party that weekend, and it was hell tryin to get rooms. I got 3 at the Imperial Palace though, for 286 each. That was just today, so you might wanna try there. Call them direct, cause Expedia says they dont allow Saturday Checkin, but they let me....
