Default nec 20\" monitor

http://www.necdisplay.com/products/S...ncLCD200VX.htm

This is on sale and I was wondering if anyone uses it or could compare it to the dell.

Well it does 1600 x 1200, but depending on how much less it is than a 2001FP you might want to stick with what you know is great.

Same brightness rating and contrast ratio. Couldn't find the response time for the NEC but i doubt it's '1000x times better'.

I thought you left these forums?

They all seem to have 250 cd/m^2 brightness and 400:1 contrast ratio. Other than (possibly) response time, what specification(s) is(are) making these other monitors so superior to the dell?

Ok so I dont know what any of these stats mean. Other than the 1200 x 600 or whatever it is for the 4 tables on the screen!! I know I want to get a better monitor since I'm still using a crt and it's a 17" at that.

So guide me a little...I need to step up to the plate and spend some poker dough this xmas....on myself!
