Default nutty villain...I\'m lagging it up and hit a set

title explains most of it. The villain in question never folds and usually raises when he sees weakness.

Default Re: nutty villain...I\'m lagging it up and hit a set

Looks fine more or less.... lets see what happens if you bet a little more on the flop and turn:

Bet $45 flop, both guys probably still call, pot is $195

Bet $120 on the turn(roughly the same fraction of pot you used), 1 call, pot is $435

Now when you push the river, its only about 2/3 pot and villain can talk himself into calling with more hands. Just something to think about. Even if you wanted to do the half pot flop bet in hopes of getting raised, you could bet the turn a little harder to make your river push more callable.

Edit to add that the lack of draws on this board makes it likely you are way ahead the whole way so you won't have to worry about a bad card on the river with a PSB left in your stack. A club would suck, but I'd pay it off every time with only 2/3 pot behind at that point.
