Default When to move NL25 -> NL50 (Party)

Hi.
My question is when to move from NL25 tables to NL50 tables on Party Poker. I know the standard 25 times buy-in rule (or 30 times or so on). According to the rule it should be somewhere beyond $1250, but...

NL25 are the lowest no limit tables on Party (not including beginners), and because of that they are full of fishes/maniacs/etc. I am devastating those tables, practically never going away with less money, usually earning more (or a lot more) than 10BB per 100 hands.

So will the nl25->nl50 change give me more money or will it just make the play harder?

Grasiu

To quote an awesome post I copy pasted into .txt file quite a while ago:

"first off you should never view it as a quantum leap kinda thing. just take little shots when you feel comfortable, have the money and are good enough. here's a hand waving yardstick:

try 50NL when:

- you're confident in your preflop game
- you understand position
- you have a good idea of their hand by the river
- you have an ok feel when to continuation bet
- you have 500 or more

100NL when:

- you're confident playing draws
- you can spot good semibluff opportunities
- you can lay down AA/KK unimproved
- you're attacking the blinds in easy steal situations
- you have 1200+

200NL when:

- you're ok betting your stack on a draw
- a PFR from you doesnt always mean AA-JJ and AQs+
- you're starting to play one hand while holding another
- you have more than one mode
- you have 3000 or more

400NL when:

- you can ID profitable preflop steals
- you know how to pick between b3b and c/r
- position factors heavily into your play
- you're good at manipulating pot size
- you have 6000+

1K NL when

- your lines don't define your hand
- you're good at playing and winning lots of small pots
- your oop opponent must hold a strong hand to win a pot from you
- you understand the real math of the game at least at a basal level
- you have 20000+

FAQ it up. Also this was posted by Fim a while ago.
50's are a bit tougher but not much.

I forgot to say that I play on 4 tables at the same time (full ring). Trying nl50 with 4 tables when u have 500 will be puting 40% of your bankroll on tables... It's kind of a lot. I do have a lot stronger bankroll, but I still wonder what the adjustment for the multi-tabling should be. You may say - none - cause multing tables doesn't change anything, but still those 40% of bankroll...

And one more question - if I have bankroll+abilities for moving up (even 2 levels up) and I don't move cause I am affraid/uncomfortable, how is that?

I think that's a good reason not to move up.

It's very easy to drop a stack when you're not comfortable at the table. Could you comfortably play 3 25's and just one 50? Or even 2 25's and give the 50 that extra bit of attention?

nut-peddle for a sesh or two, and i bet you'll start to feel more comfortable once you sit 'n' watch for a little while.

If your roll is above 1250$ I suggest you simply give yourself like 6 buy ins to try it out, and dont start with 4 tables, start with 2 or 3. If you spot good tables the play isn't any harder than on the 25NL so the only adjustment you really need to do is being comfortable putting more money at stake at the same time.
